Counselling / Psychotherapy / Mental Health

I am a Registered Psychotherapist in Canada, dedicated to supporting individuals and groups, particularly immigrants and minorities, in their mental health journeys. With over nine years of personal experience as an immigrant, I understand the emotional and cultural challenges that come with adapting to a new country.

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and ( Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) ACT to address common issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and anger. My passion for Intercultural Psychology stems from my own experience as an immigrant, and it has grown to include a deep commitment to racial mental health, especially within the Black community. I actively participate in groups both in Brazil and Canada, continually expanding my understanding and bridging diverse realities.

Living in Canada with my family has given me firsthand insight into the joys and struggles of being an immigrant. I believe that understanding someone’s cultural context is as important as understanding their personal journey, and I strive to provide culturally sensitive, anti-homophobic, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive support.

You don’t have to go through this journey alone—I’m here to help you create lasting, positive change. Sessions are available in both English and Portuguese.
